OUR STORY

TANK CANINE started with two dogs, Kobe and Crunch.

Crunch is a soft-coated wheaten terrier/poodle mix, rescued from the shelter.

Kobe is a purebred lemon beagle with more drive than anything I’ve ever seen.

And Kobe is the reason this company exists.

No matter what bed I brought home, he destroyed it.
Didn’t matter what it claimed “durable,” “tough,” “indestructible”, it was gone in days.

Over time, I found myself spending hundreds of dollars replacing dog beds that weren’t built to last.

I tried everything.
Training. Correction. You name it.

A few weeks later… I’d be back at the store buying another $60–$80 bed, hoping this time would be different.

It never was.

Then life changed.

In 2025, my wife and I had our first baby.

At that point, constantly replacing dog beds wasn’t just frustrating; it didn’t make sense anymore.

Something had to change.

So instead of buying another bed, I started asking a different question:

Why are dog beds made like this in the first place?

That question led me into researching materials far beyond the pet industry, materials used in environments where durability isn’t optional.

What I found was a completely different class of construction.

Not fabrics designed for comfort first and failure later, but layered materials engineered to resist tearing, abrasion, moisture, and long-term breakdown under real stress.

Materials trusted in demanding applications where performance actually matters.

That became the foundation of the TANK BED.

Not a softer bed.
A stronger one.

TANK CANINE was built out of necessity, not trend.

Because if your dog is anything like Kobe, you don’t need another bed.

You need one that lasts.
